Ten Month Mentorship Program
Turn your published book into a screenplay. Learn how to structure your story elements and character arcs to work for the screen - either for a feature length film or a pilot. Our instructors will guide you each step of the way in our live-online interactive classes. Share your progress and receive feedback in mentor-led workshopping sessions. Watch the class replays, interact with your classmates, and post questions for the instructors throughout the week in our private online community group. Complete your first draft, learn how to give and receive feedback, and dive in for your next draft.

40 Mentor Led Group Workshopping Sessions (2 hr / session, 1 per week) Optional but very beneficial. Share your progress, get feedback, workshop your ideas, ask questions and seek advice as you progress through your screenplay.

Your Instructor
Jaclyn Whitt
Jaclyn Whitt is a multi-award winning screenwriter in both short and long format, garnering 10 first-place awards in National and International screenwriting competitions. As a script consultant, screenwriters seek out her input during their editing process to strengthen their characters and storylines and tighten their scripts. Producers have sent other screenwriters to Jaclyn to help improve, focus, and re-write their screenplays. Her realistic dialogue, unique characters, and non-verbal communication within scripts have been frequently noted and praised. Jaclyn is an optioned writer with three feature films and a sitcom currently in pre-production.
